Every smile we care for is part of a larger story rooted in family, trust, and a legacy of compassion. For more than 40 years, Dr. Krabill built a practice dedicated to treating patients like family, creating a place where people felt truly seen and cared for.
In 2016, his daughter, Dr. Laura, joined him in serving the community she grew up in, and in 2019, she purchased the practice. Today, she continues her father’s legacy while bringing new advances in modern dentistry to every patient experience.

Dr. Laura Krabill Kheshgi
Dentist & Practice Owner
Dr. Laura Krabill Kheshgi earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Goshen College. She then returned to Illinois to attend Southern University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in 2016 summa cum laude and ranked among the top five in her class.
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Laura continually pursues opportunities to expand her knowledge and provide the highest level of care to her patients. In 2025, she achieved her goal of earning a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry—an accomplishment that required over 500 hours of continuing education and the successful completion of a comprehensive exam.
She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry, and she volunteers with Dental Lifeline Network.
Dr. Laura loves building lasting relationships with her patients and making a tangible difference in their lives through personalized, quality care. She finds great joy in seeing patients leave the office happy and confident in their smiles. She also feels fortunate to work alongside an incredible team that shares her dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Experience
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Laura and her husband spent a year volunteering in Tanzania, providing much-needed dental care to underserved communities. Having previously studied abroad there during college, returning to Tanzania was a meaningful experience. When she returned to the U.S., she joined her father’s dental practice full-time and had the privilege of working alongside him until his retirement in 2021.
Inspiration
Dr. Laura first discovered her passion for dentistry in high school while assisting her father on a volunteer dental trip to Belize. It was there she realized that dentistry is the perfect blend of science and artistry. Dr. Laura enjoys the detail-oriented nature of dentistry; whether it is solving a complex case or helping transform a patient's smile with cosmetic dentistry.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Laura loves spending time with her husband and their two young children. Together, they enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, traveling, and exploring new places.
A lifelong musician, she has played the violin since age six—an art form that laid the foundation for the dexterity she now uses every day in dentistry.
Heather
Hygienist
Heather is a hygienist who brings both skill and heart to every appointment. A proud graduate of Illinois Central College, she began her dental career in 2014, and joined Dr. Laura's office full-time in 2017, a place she now fondly calls her “forever home.”
In her role, Heather performs oral cancer screenings, evaluates and treats periodontal disease, administers local anesthetic, provides personalized oral hygiene instruction, and takes diagnostic images. She’s passionate about patient relationships and loves connecting with people beyond their dental visits, many of whom she now considers lifelong friends.
Heather values the close-knit, supportive team she works with, describing the office as more like a family than a workplace. Her fascination with head and neck anatomy, combined with a deep desire to help others, continues to drive her enthusiasm for dentistry’s ever-evolving nature.
Outside of work, Heather loves spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading, running, yoga, and catching up on Netflix shows. A true sports fanatic, she loves playing and coaching sports and is an avid supporter of the Cubs, Bears, and the Fighting Illini.

Outside of work, Amy loves spending time with her family, husband Eric, and their daughter, Abigail. She also loves getting together with her friends, enjoys gardening, coaching softball and crocheting. And here’s a fun fact: Amy is a twin!
Mallory
Hygienist
Mallory is a dental hygienist at our practice. She provides both preventative and therapeutic oral care. Mallory is cross-trained to assist Dr. Laura and her fellow hygienists, helping ensure that every patient visit runs smoothly and comfortably.
Mallory earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and began her career in dentistry in 2020, joining Dr. Laura's practice later that same year.
Her favorite part of working in the office is the strong sense of community and family among patients and team members alike. Whether sharing stories, offering support, or building long-term relationships, Mallory values the warmth and connection that define her work environment.
Inspired to join the dental field by her early experiences accompanying her mother, a nurse in a nursing home, Mallory was struck by how many residents struggled with missing teeth. That curiosity grew into a passion for dentistry and its power to support whole-body health through oral care.
Outside of the office, Mallory enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, and two children, Doyle and Louise. A fun fact about Mallory: she and her daughter share the same birthday.

Kaitlynn is a dedicated dental hygienist who brings enthusiasm and compassion to every patient interaction. After earning her education and training from Parkland College, Kaitlynn began her dental career in 2023 and joined her current practice in 2024.
With a warm and welcoming personality, Kaitlynn enjoys meeting new people and watching them grow in confidence as they improve their oral health. She is passionate about patient education and loves helping individuals achieve healthier smiles through thorough cleanings and personalized home care guidance.
Dentistry runs in Kaitlynn’s family (her mother is a dental assistant) which inspired her early interest in the field and her desire to help others feel good about their teeth and smile.
Outside of the dental office, Kaitlynn enjoys spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, and trying new restaurants. She also helps out on her family’s farm, which she considers a uniquely rewarding experience. A fun fact about Kaitlynn: she’s a proud pet parent to an Australian Shepherd and a Maine Coon cat.

Her goal is to make every patient feel appreciated and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.
Meaghan began her dental career in 2019, transitioning from a women’s health medical front office role. This is the first dental office she has worked in, and she has embraced the opportunity to grow professionally through on-the-job training, webinars, and conferences provided by Dr. Laura. She especially loves the family-like atmosphere of the office, where compassion extends to both coworkers and patients.
